Hello world!

Over the past year, I’ve been creating a lot of videos to teach students about Emergency Medicine. Asynchronously. There have been a lot of reasons I started down this path and most of the students have enjoyed the lessons. I’ve also learned a lot through trial and error.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with what I’m talking about, here’s a sample of a video by the Khan Academy. (Check this site out if you haven’t, it’s amazing).

I’ve been trying to create something similar for my students.

This blog is meant to share what I’ve found works best for me & others. We can look at hardware issues, recording techniques, pedagogy, assessments, flipping the classroom. There really is a lot.
