This curriculum is based on that created by the Clerkship Directors in Emergency Medicine by Manthey, et al and brought to life on the CDEM student curriculum website. The curriclum is based on ten “Approach To” topics which cover a suggested approach students may take when presented with a patient with one of the following complaints. There are also modules which are based on specific diseases, grouped by category. This is the material for which you are responsible, however we cannot cover all of this in three lecture sessions. So please refer to the CDEM website to find the material.
During this four week rotation, this is the material we’ll be covering. Remember, that on “lecture” days I won’t be lecturing. We’ll be going over cases which you will manage. Come to class prepared! Read the material, watch the videos and complete any assignments beforehand.

This is a great initiative. Modern, free, mobile, multimedia, quality education. I’d like to feature your site on my medical education blog, Teach, MD.
Wow, I’d be honored. Thanks for the nice comments. I’m following your blog, now, too. Great idea.
